PoliTexts Press was formed in January of 2005 by Jerry Politex, editor of Bush Watch, to serve as a publishing outlet and promotion agent for writers of all kinds, but particularly for political writers and editors working on the Internet.

Originally, the word "PoliTexts" was thought of as a pun: books written, published, or promoted by Jerry Politex. Later, we learned that "Poli" in English means "of or relating to the gray matter of the brain," an ideal description of the kind of writing we would like to focus upon.
