GARLIC ASKS ABOUT THE RECENT ONION INTERVIEWS
Since Onion has returned from its Christmas vacation, its "What Do You Think?" political interviews have lacked their usual clever, flip comic style. This has put a strain on comedy plagiarists throughout the internet. What do you think is the problem? What must be done to correct it?
"Well, I don't want to tell tales out of school, but I've noticed that I've not been as funny since that nice Joe guy who used to edit my remarks was let go."Darleen Edwards, Librarian
"That's bullshit, we're just as funny as ever. It's just that Bush is funnier without even trying."
Clark Bender, Taxi Driver
"Let's face it, sloppy editing's to blame. I read the interviews each week and the Onion staff keeps changing my name and occupation. What ever happened to factual reporting?"
Terry Jenner, Ornithologist
"I'm not sure what to make of all this. Can I get back to you after tonight's O'Reily Factor?"Ted Daniels, Machinist
"Perhaps with the new administration the laughs are faith-based." James Jackson, Pshchologist
"Look, why don't we all just admit it. The funny lines have been stolen from the New Yorker. Now, in the words of Mr. Bush, let's just accept it and get on with our lives."
Robert Duncan, Onion Writer
